March 2022

HEARTH (SANCTUARY) was featured in Verum Ultimum Gallery's 9th Annual Abstract Sanctuary Show. While the host gallery is in Portland, OR, the show was online. Artworks are still viewable at the Verum Ultimum website.

February 2022

A STONE FOR RICHARD K and HEARTH (SANCTUARY) were featured in the Falkirk Cultural Center's Winter Juried Show, in San Rafael, CA. The show ran from January 14 to February 18, 2022. Artworks are still viewable online at the Falkirk website.

December 2021

A STONE FOR RICHARD K was awarded an Honorable Mention in Marin Society of Artists' "Fresh Art 2021" exhibition (online), which ran from October through December 2021. Featured artwork is still viewable on the MSA website.

August 5, 2020

HEARTH was selected for national juried exhibition "Sanctuary" at the Gearbox Gallery in Oakland, juried by René de Guzman, Director of Exhibition Strategy and Senior Curator of Art at the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA). The exhibition runs August 7 – September 5, 2020, with limited in-person gallery hours (check gallery website for more info).

Thanks so much to everyone who came to my show opening! The last "normal" day! It was truly a pleasure to see all of you, play some music on custom instruments with slide guitarist Bart Bull ... and sell some pieces (including a couple of large ones)!

The gallery/tasting room will be closed to the public until further notice (check the Bump website for updates). My work will remain in place, probably through April 2020—visible through the front windows.

My piece The Receiver has been selected for a national juried exhibition, "Alchemy," at the Arts Guild of Sonoma, by Jenny Gheith, Assistant Curator of Painting and Sculpture at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The exhibition runs October 3 – November 3, 2019, with an opening reception Saturday, October 5, 5–7:30pm.
